Richard Viguerie's War on Bush

Richard Viguerie, one of the powerbrokers on the Right for 40 years and the founder of the direct mail empire, has been furious at Bush ever since the nomination of Miers and was instrumental in mobilizing conservative leaders to speak out against the nominee. This is another example of how the Right is clearly tired of sacrificing their principles for the Bush agenda. Read about it here. Bush can win them back though if he picks the right person for the Court. All will be forgotten.

Hmm, largest rise in discretionary spending in history, largest deficits in history, letting Osama bin Laden escape while focusing on a regime with nothing to do with terror, creating a huge prescription drug entitlement, failing to accomplish any kind of energy plan whatsoever, horrible no child left behind act, burning a whole cia front company and related agents to get back at a nytimes editorial writer, lying to the american people to go to an unneeded war that has cost over 300 billion dollars to date, appointing cronies to such inconsequential federal agencies as FEMA, who fail to do anything for 3 days after one of the worst national disasters in history, and this is just off the top of my head. I'm glad that one supreme court justice is enough for you to forget it all. I would need about a case of champagne. Its a good thing I cracked open a bottle at about 1:30--bye bye Libby!!
